Authenticated donor profiles may display the donor’s existing Rakhtveer donation history, certificates and gallery records. Public donor ID pages show only a masked name, blood group, broad location and donation total. They do not expose phone number, email, exact address, GPS coordinates or private history.
Availability, WhatsApp request alerts, phone sharing and WhatsApp contact sharing start disabled for a new profile. An accepted request can reveal contact details only when the relevant people have explicitly enabled sharing. Turn settings off whenever you want.
Location access is optional. If you press “Use my current location”, the browser may provide coordinates so the app can suggest a state, district and city. Reverse-geocoding coordinates are sent to the configured geocoding provider. The app does not persist those coordinates to the donor database; a rounded coordinate key may be temporarily cached in server memory to limit repeat geocoding requests. Donor profiles store broad area information, not live location.
Requests may show blood group, broad area, urgency, component, units and progress. Public boards do not expose requesters’ or donors’ phone numbers. WhatsApp alerts are sent only to matching volunteers who opt in. Authentication and request messages do not use or deduct from an organisation wallet; Meta/provider messaging fees may still apply.
Search results are potential matches, not medical clearance or a promise that someone is available. Eligibility and component suitability must be confirmed by the treating hospital and qualified blood-service staff. In emergencies, contact the hospital or a licensed blood centre directly.
Local demo data is fictional and stored in this browser for testing. Live records require verified sign-in and configured Rakhtveer database access. Ask Rakhtveer support to correct or remove inaccurate personal information.
